Our production line badly needed to undergo a complete overhaul of its control system. We were concerned that in doing so there was a potential risk of excessive downtime and lost revenue. Ionic Engineering over delivered with a turnkey solution, executed efficiently with absolutely zero downtime. It was a happy surprise to our management team.

November 14th, 2011 – President of Ionic Engineering, Stephan Matusch P.Eng., M.B.A., receives the prestigious Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) Engineering Medal for Entrepreneurship.  This award is given every year to only one registered engineer in the Province of Ontario.

In previous years we had struggled to automate our reject collection system. During that time we had installed designs on two separate occasions that had failed shortly after thier installation.  Ionic Engineering’s consulting group had the engineering depth and expertise to succeed where others had failed. Their team came up with a novel yet simple automation solution that has continued to work reliably to this day."

October 25th, 2011 – Ionic Engineering is pleased to announce the official opening of their second engineering office and assembly facility in Cambridge Ontario. Ionic Engineering was founded in 1998 in Sudbury Ontario. Says Stephen Matusch, President, “This new 20,000 square foot facility will give us the extra capacity to test more equipment in parallel, or a larger single production line. As well, this facility will help us service our growing customer base in the automotive and manufacturing centers of Southern Ontario.

December 9th, 2011 – Ionic Engineering is pleased to announce the award of a major automation project located in the Baja California penninsula of Mexico. The project, part of a major EPCM contract through Fluor/Bateman, includes the turnkey supply of a cobalt material handling and refurbishing line. Project is slated for delivery in November, 2012.
